Chelsea's premier league campaign started on a positive note as the Frank Lampard led blues won their first game 1-3 at Brighton and Hove Albion.
Werner couldn't get his name on the score sheet alongside Havertz who left the game with 10minuites to go.
Chelsea took the lead through Jorginho's first half spot kick, Brighton leveled up earlier in the second half but Reece James cut short their Joy after just 90 seconds when he smashed the roof of the net from 25 yards.
Kurt Zouma put the game beyond the home team reach when he converted James's corner.
Chelsea fans would be proud of Timo's performance but will definitely wish Havertz adjusts to the league faster.
Reece James was exceptional both at the back and going forward tonight and it's a form every Chelsea fans want to see week in, week out.
