Despite being rumoured to be a close deal, Bayern Munich president has disclosed that Liverpool are yet to make any contact with the Allianz Arena outfit about the possibility of Thiago joining Liverpool for next season.
“We always read a lot about Liverpool, but they haven't contacted us yet,” said the chief of the European champions.
“Yesterday we had the appointment with our employees and his whole family was there and they wandered around the square in great nostalgia [at the Allianz Arena], I would almost say.
Wayne Rooney is one of those the move interest for it would be a plus having Thiago play in the premier league next season.
Thiago who has a year left on his current Bayern Munich contract is open for a new challenge and the club won't stand on his way if the offer is good.
